MUSIC

Lynn Chen - piano

I grew up at The Metropolitan Opera House, singing in the Children's Chorus.  Along with my degree in Women's Studies, I was a Music Major at Wesleyan University, playing the piano since the age of 3.  I was the musical director for two a cappella groups and The NiteStar Theatre Company.

“Not So Perfect Pitch” — a short documentary I made about losing my perfect pitch as I get older.

“Room to Wander” — I song I co-wrote with my husband after college and revisited recently.

YPOK2

I write music, play keyboards, and sing in this synth pop band. This past summer, my husband and I finally made a video for one of the songs!

EDIE SEDGWICK

I sang vocals for DC-based Edie Sedgwick (Dischord Records) on their European Tour. This was my first time singing with a punk band and I think it’s safe to say it was probably my last.

COVERS

Jane Lui had the brilliant idea to do a one-take cover of TLC’s "WATERFALLS" with me and Tamlyn Tomita. Please don’t judge my basketball skills in this.

For a while now, on my Instagram, I’ve been learning how to play/sing one verse/chorus of a song. I usually post these in my IG Stories on the weekend, so follow me there to catch them before they disappear!
