by CHLOE. opened a while ago in Silver Lake - I've actually been a whole bunch of times but this is my first time blogging about it. The food is fast, 100% vegan, certified kosher, and committed to organic ingredients. My go-to there is the Quinoa Taco Salad, but this time I stepped out of my comfy zone and ordered off the new spring menu. I also finally tried their Air Baked French Fries, since Abe came along to share them with me.
They're really good, especially dipped in beet ketchup. The Classic Burger (made from tempeh, lentils, chia, and walnuts) can be made gluten-free.
The soup special is Carrot, Ginger, and Turmeric with Coconut Cream and Parsley. The other Lynn-friendly option off the Spring Market Specials is a Roasted Asparagus with Tahini Vinaigrette and Red Chili. If you do eat wheat, the Daily Pancake (Funfetti with Rainbow Sprinkles) and Avocado Toast (Marinated Cucumber with Tofu Feta, Dill and Almond Parm) sound delicious.
Their bakery case was making eyes at me.
Luckily, they have two gluten-free options. A classic chocolate chip cookie...
...and a chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting, all dressed up in pastels.
The best part - by CHLOE. is next door to a 365 Whole Foods and a CVS, so I got all my errands done in less than 30 minutes.
