Remember the apple pie from my last post?  Here's another beauty from Cake Monkey Bakery.  This is a Butterscotch Pudding Pie, in a Graham Cracker Crust.  On top is fresh Whipped Cream, Pumpkin Seed Brittle and Caramel Drizzle.

Of course, the bakery has other things other than pie...

...I'm already familiar with their Cakewiches, which I've eaten at Umami Burger back in the day.  For their one-year brick-and-mortar anniversary, they are stuffing them with five golden tickets (a la Willy Wonka) with different prizes, including gift certificates for $100 and $250 through November 20th.

I actually did not try anything other than the apple pie (which I've been eating nonstop for the last few days).  But how good do these croissants look...

...and this Chocolate Hazelnut Babka?  They use Brioche Dough with Housemade Chocolate Hazelnut Filling, topped with Hazelnut Brittle.  Basically, give me all the brittle.

The space is small but darling - and it's really close to me too.  It will definitely become my new go-to place to pick up treats.
